Artist Statement
Having spent eight years in Melbourne,
I came back to Lismore
with more knowledge about painting.
On my return, I was very happy to discover the
Serpentine Community Gallery in North Lismore.
I became interested in the community focus
of gallery and joined the volunteer team.
Upon meeting one of the other gallery members,
Sue Alford, I took inspiration for this painting
from her inner warmth and radiance
