- Grand Opening -

The Serpentine Community Gallery

with our first ever exhibition:

Many, very enthusiastic,

local artists and performers came together on Friday 10th November 2006,

for the grand opening of the

Serpentine Community Gallery,

our newly formed co-op artspace

located in Bridge Street, North Lismore.

Entitled Rainbow Industria,

the opening exhibition's name/theme were inspired by the Rainbow Region the artists live in

and the gallery's industrial feel.

Starting at 6pm,

the event featured performance art

and a variety of talented musos

including fiddle player David Ramsay.

The gallery's grand opening was followed by an after party and fundraiser at the Winsome Hotel,
