Eat My Shorts is a four piece queer punk outfit

which formed out of the steamy dust and fire from

Choocha Bahn, the Sydney All Ages No-Wave

collective, which featured Naked On The Vague

and Say Cheese And Die!

Choocha Bahn operated until 2008, often using Lanfranchi's Memorial Discotheque.

"We wanted to show the kids that they aren't like the Whitney Houston zombies that school choir practice teaches;

you can scream!" says Eat My Shorts (EMS) co-founder Kat Spat.

With a sound influenced by the D-Beat Crustpunks, The Situationists and Deelite, there is an unexpected joy

from their performance; a "Yo-ho-ho, Me Hearties" of the soul.

EMS's Jerkson Stacy said "We're not stopping for anything on our search for truth in the op-shops of life,

and we're serious about it."
