Robert was born in London, and grew up in Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

He is a fine arts graduate of Southern Cross University.

Robert Cottam held his first solo exhibition

- The Everyday -

at the Serpentine Community Gallery

in August/Septmber 2009.

For this exhibition,

Robert created a series of works

which captured hyper-modern reality in daily life

using mainly oil and acrylic.
