THE BEAUTY IN NATURE...

I am a local artist having lived in the Northern Rivers for most of my life

and I love to create. From the initial concept through to the finished work

is a journey, with elements of surprise during the experimental stages...

working with varied textures is appealing & always interesting.

‘The Beauty in Nature’ exhibition brings my impression of nature’s beauty

onto the canvas, an attempt to bring an array of colours, design,

calmness and almost fragrance to the viewer!

I usually paint in acrylic although I do use other mediums to create

interesting outcomes making the work truly unique. I enjoy a realistic

style with a twist, am attracted especially to open impressionism and at

times experiment with abstracted images and backgrounds.

I held my own Solo exhibition at Lennox Art Collective in 2019 and won

‘The People’s Choice Award’ at the Bentley Art Prize in 2013. I studied

Fine Arts at Lismore Tafe, have attended various Art Workshops in NSW

& Queensland and regular classes over the years. I have been grateful for the local Art & Craft Fairs where I displayed and sold my art works and handmade cards.

My art focus is mostly on Nature in her various forms... Flowers, birds,

and landscapes. ‘The Beauty in Nature’ I bring to you for your enjoyment and pleasure.
