In an approach appreciated by its diverse range of clients,
Multitask support services in Lismore have put an
emphasis on ability, rather than disability.
The Serpentine Community Gallery's latest exhibition
'Multi-task'
- featuring artwork by members of the Multitask Art Group -
is proof of this concept in action.
Abstract, impressionist and expressive print,
paint and mixed media designs
pack the gallery as part of the display,
on view from 14-27 October 2015.
The opening celebration will take place on
Thursday 15th October 2015, 6-8pm.
Group facilitator and Serpentine volunteer, Trisha Dalmas
explained what Multitask's art program was all about,
"It's about self-empowerment and healing through creativity.
There's some incredible artists in the group..."
