our 5th annual Scarlet will present
a wonderful selection of visually,
mentally and emotionally stimulating art.
Following tradition, the opening evening is one
filled with performance art,
Montage of performance artist Rebecca Probyn

and guests are invited to dress up for the occasion.
It promises be a big event-packed night.

will have strong adult themes.

so it will be the last opportunity to grab some tickets
and a chance to win some of the great prizes
donated by supportive local businesses.
Everyone is welcome to attend the opening. Refreshments will be available.

On the night
Scarlet fashions: Michelle, Mermaid Princess Fairy Amber, Balloon Man Shey, Jennifer Harnett and Ray Parry
were just a few of the artists and art-lovers who took the opportunity to dress-up for the occasion.
Streetside: Opening night goers got busy with a range of hands-on (and feet-on)
entertainment including chalk drawing and the chance to add to Toby's 'Footprint' mural.
Clockwise from top left: Creating dragonflies (under construction),
a large-scale version of Maggie Simpson's dummy (for Lily) and a flower
to more erotic-style hats, wristbands and strap-on appendages,
'The Dirty Balloon Man' Shey conjured up something for everyone.
Musical interludes: Young drummers, clarinet, guitar and vocals.
Celestine Fedley gives the box a good shake ready for fellow committee
member Emma Burrows to draw the winning tickets in the Serpentine Arts Raffle.
