Volunteer Expo 2011
Serpentine Community Gallery
was invited to attend
Volunteer Expo 2011,
which took place at Lismore Town Hall
on Thursday 12th May.
This event was organised by
Volunteering Northern Rivers
with the National Volunteer Week
theme for 2011 being:
"Inspiring the Volunteer in You".
Our longest serving volunteer,
gallery co-founder
was nominated for the Expo's
Outstanding Volunteer Competition
and a photo of our volunteers
in action was selected for the
Photography Competition.
Founder of this community gallery
and our nominated
'Outstanding Volunteer',

No competition wins for us this year,
but the team of volunteers manning our stall were kept busy throughout the day as they
introduced the gallery, and outlined its activities, to a whole new range of
interested members of the Northern Rivers community.
