Spring Art Auction '07

14th September 2007: Spring Art Auction fundraising event at the Serpentine Gallery.

Works from established artists such as Steve Geise, Jackson Gooch, Sean Paris, Carolyn Carey and Aris Prabawa went under the hammer at this gallery benefit.

Also up for auction on the night were two tickets to the Tropical Fruits New Year’s Eve party plus a night’s accommodation at the Winsome Hotel.

The auction at the gallery (next to the Winsome Hotel in North Lismore) got underway on Friday at 7pm.

Food and wine also available on the night. (No art without wine...)

 said Jackson Gooch.

The title of his work (right) sums up this artist's attitude to supporting

the artist-run community gallery.
