History of the concept- Rust paintings were derived by chance after Cyclone Debbie 2017 flood waters of Lismore NSW. The process of trying to salvage the metal brought to life, beauty through
chance and chaos, during environmental and emotional distress. Given the extent nature of the process, each work is bespoke to elemental control of its seasonal period.
