13th JUNE 2008: Serpentine Gallery present their second annual
'Scarlet' exhibition.
'Scarlet'
- a group exhibition by many artists from around the Northern Rivers region -
is an exploration of erotic art and has been interpreted through
sculpture, painting, installation,
photography and performance art.
On Friday, June 13, the Serpentine Community Gallery also held
the Scarlet Ball fundraising event,
with performance art upstairs at the Winsome Hotel,
from 9pm till late. Entry: $15/$12.
Mistress of Ceremonies Kath Duncan hosted a night of
exotic dance, comedy and performances.
DJs Sista Ray and Poppa J added to the entertainment.
'Scarlet' at the Serpentine until June 30.
