My own flag represents my ancestral links, who I am and where I come from - Cornwall, Ireland and Scotland.

'What I am – Art Start' - a poem by Ray Parry
I paint what I am, day-to-day,
I draw what I see to be happy.
What I am beyond feeling and beyond the mind,
And the colours become real beyond the mind.
Dance free in the spirit, and the sun will shine,
And you’ll glow, like a fire in the wintertime.
I write what I am and the things around me,
I sing songs about ‘me’, about ‘you’ and ‘I’ and ‘us’.
Well I am, what I am, and the days are all clear,
Because I draw what I am,
Well I am what I am,
I’m happy in ‘it’!
I am happy in ‘it’!
